SUBJECT: New Zealand Airport System since WW2
The address will be given by our local President David Lyon.
The presentation will centre on the development since WW2 of the New Zealand Airport system and how it is currently owned and operated.
In June 1985 the then Minister of Civil Aviation, Richard Prebble, released a policy document titled Airports- New Partnership 1885. I will be proposing that 40 years later there is a need for industry and the government to formulate a new policy statement titled Airports-A New Partnership 2025.
